Canada Designs is a great opportunity to attend Canada’s largest National Design Expo & Conference in Toronto in September. Toronto is the 5th largest design market and has the 3rd largest design work force in North America. See the latest products by Canadian manufacturers and connect with Canadian design professionals.
The 2011 Canada Designs Program is supported by IDC, Interior Designers of Canada, and IIDEX/NeoCon Canada, with support from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, and includes:
- A 50% reimbursement of round trip economy airfare, not including taxes
- Up to 3 nights hotel for US, and 4 nights hotel for International attendees in downtown Toronto
- A welcome reception on Wednesday, September 21st
- Special guided tours of IIDEX/NeoCon Canada
- Factory and Showroom Tours
- Free time to explore Toronto, Canada’s architecture and design capital
NOTE: This program is only available to Interior Designers, Architects and Facility Managers located outside of Canada. Preference will be given to designers involved in hospitality design. Up to two persons per company may apply; one application form per company may be submitted. Attendance at IIDEX/NeoCon Canada and certain other events is mandatory. All applications will be considered and selected by a committee from IDC, MMPI Canada and IIDEX/NeoCon Canada. Successful candidates will be notified by e-mail no later than September 1, 2011.
