IIDEX, Canada’s National Design Expo & Conference is now in its 28th year and holds a truly unique position in the Canadian design industry as the only major design exposition owned by a professional association, IDC, the Interior Designers of Canada and managed by MMPI Canada. ENHANCED GRID FLOOR PLAN
- The 2012 grid floor plan enhances traffic flow to all area of the show floor. For 2012 IIDEX has developed four special exhibits anchoring Light Canada, Hospitality Canada, Retail Design and Material World.
FEATURE AREAS
Architecture Canada Expo: NEW for 2012, the RAIC I Architecture Canada has collaborated with IDC, owners of IIDEX/NeoCon Canada to co-present IIDEX, as well as partner with IIDEX on a new expo on the show floor focused on interior architectural products, sustainable products and services and technology products geared to the architectural community.
Hospitality Canada: After a very successful launch in 2011, this show-within-a-show expands for its second year featuring Air Canada’s enRoute Magazine Canadian Hotel Design Awards ceremony and exhibit, plus an expanded exhibition area and CEU accredited seminar program. Sponsored by NEWH Canada.
Light Canada Expo: Returns for 2012 as Canada’s foremost lighting expo and conference, featuring over 100 exhibitors, a CEU accredited seminar program and international lighting keynote. Christopher Nelson as the Light Canada Chair and Rhomney Forbes-Gray as the Conference Chair.
Workplace Design: IIDEX’s largest and most popular feature area returns with a redesigned exhibit area showcasing leading workplace exhibitors, plus a CEU seminar stream and workshops.
The Landscape Pavilion: Sponsored by the OALA, Ontario Association of Landscape Architects, this feature area is returning for its second year with an increased presence on the show floor and expanded seminar program.
Healthcare Design: This booming sector of the economy provides untold opportunities for suppliers to tap into this important sector of the design industry. Make sure to secure your booth early to showcase your product and services to the healthcare design community.
Material World: This feature area just keeps growing to meet the insatiable demand from design professionals for the latest and most innovative material from around the world. This curated exhibit is complemented by its own website, thinkmaterial.ca
Retail: Located next to Hospitality Canada, the retail feature area continues to grow in step with this expanding sector of the economy. A special exhibit will anchor this area showcasing how all the senses effect design and consumer purchasing decisions. Presented in partnership with RDI, Retail Design Institute.
NEW – Textile Lounge: An innovative new feature area showcasing the latest in textiles for commercial and residential use.
