Jardins de Métis

IIDEX/NeoCon Canada

Les Jardins de Métis makes its IIDEX debut with an innovative Fractal Garden installation designed Legge Lewis Legge Architects. Fractal Garden is a group of 21 low planters on wheels, which can be rolled and arranged into infinite patterns. The set consists of seven planters each of three different diamond-shaped planters containing three different plantings. There are as many designs possible as there are visitors, making impossible the attainment of a final perfect pattern.

LIGHT CANADA FEATURE EXHIBIT BY TRAXON

IIDEX/NeoCon Canada

LEDs have the power to transform facades and interiors with animated displays, pulsating colours and unique graphics. The proof is in the dynamic lighting systems created by Traxon Technologies (a division of Osram Sylvania), renowned the world over for its work in architectural projects, and hospitality and retail environments. It’s also employed LEDs in purely whimsical ways, such as in Project Hope, a giant spinning wind turbine-turned-”Christmas star” in Munich, and the hanging dice fixtures in the Firekeepers Casino in Michigan. For IIDEX/NeoCon’s Light Canada, the company is contributing an original installation that promises to be a show-stopper.
