This Learning Lab will provide an overview of LEED Canada Initiative (LCI) and Green Building Performance Initiative (GBPI). In Canada, buildings account for 35% of total GHG emissions and green buildings is a part of national climate change solution. The LCI is the CaGBC’s program to develop the next generation of the rating System (LEED Canada 2009). The GBPI will put existing buildings on track towards LEED certification.
