While demountable walls are clearly a green strategy due to their reusability, it is not immediately obvious where else they can contribute to a greener project. The first part of this presentation will identify the many areas in which demountable walls can contribute to sustainable design, including areas that have specific impacts on LEED credits and points. The second part will present recent research and link demountable walls to improved workplace performance in two key areas: productivity and employee satisfaction.
Speaker: Sholem Prasow, LEED AP, NCI-certified charrette planner, is vice-president, business development, of Teknion Furniture Systems, Toronto. Sholem delivers CEU courses in sustainable design as well as LEED accreditation coaching courses in North America and Asia.
