This seminar will explore the design principles behind the canühome and discuss the benefits of various features and products. The canühome is a full-size home exhibit showcasing the latest in sustainable and universal design. The materials and technology used in its construction reflect the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s (CMHC) Healthy Housing and FlexHousing features, and LEED standards. Learn about the home’s passive bio-climatic design, adaptable furnishings and flexibility. The canühome is a partnership between CMHC, George Brown College’s Institute Without Boundaries, TD Canada Trust and the Forest Stewardship Council. A guided tour of the canühome will follow the seminar.
