PrintGREEN Program

In collaboration with Spicers Paper and Somerset Printing, IIDEX/NeoCon Canada is pleased to continue our highly successful PrintGREEN program. Launched in 2006, the PrintGREEN has been expanded for 2008 to include the entire IIDEX/NeoCon Canada promotional material program - letterhead, business cards, postcards and brochure will be printed on Canadian made Rolland Enviro-100 paper. This paper is manufactured from 100% post-consumer waste fiber; is Process Chlorine Free (PCF) and uses Biogas Energy in its production (an alternative "green energy" source produced from decomposing waste collected from landfill sites) to reduce greenhouse emissions and the depletion of the ozone layer. Rolland Enviro -100 saves the harvesting of mature trees; reduces solid waste that would have been dumped into landfill sites; uses 80% less water than conventional paper manufacturing and helps to reduce air and water pollution. We appreciate the support of Spicers Paper in developing this innovative program.

CCR Solutions, IIDEX’s Green Audio Visual company

CCR Solutions is the first Audio Visual Staging Company to offer Green Event Solutions.

On April 20, 2007, CCR Solutions announced that they have joined the Green Meeting Industry Council. For years, like many other organizations, CCR has had their own extensive Green program governing all aspects of their internal operations. Today, CCR is now offering established programs to enable the event industry to make environmentally responsible decisions when planning meetings and conferences.

CCR's involvement and contribution to the Kyoto conference gave them a better view of what could be done and should be done in the event industry to help protect the environment. Furthermore, research has shown that the event industry is plagued by senseless waste that can be reduced or almost completely eliminated.

Let CCR show you how you can make a difference by:

• Replacing printed signage with CCR's digital plasma signage solutions
• Utilizing CCR's Octanorm® set design materials that can be used over and over again without losing the desired "fresh new look"
• Choosing CCR's ColourBlast® LED lighting technology that can save up to 80% of the electricity required compared to conventional lighting technology
• Utilizing CCR's LCD projection technology for event banners and more
• Printing on both sides of recycled paper for attendee handouts using Hewlett Packard® Duplex printers from CCR
• Using CCR's low power LCD Displays vs. CRT monitors at registration and Internet Cafés
