THE IES Toronto Lighting Show
There is a lighting revolution underway and IIDEX/NeoCon Canada is at the forefront of this massive overhaul of the lighting sector. IIDEX/NeoCon Canada has partnered with the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Toronto Chapter to create the largest lighting show in Canada. Covering 5,000 sq. ft. of show floor and featuring over 50 manufacturers of interior, exterior and architectural lighting solutions, “ The Lighting Show” will deliver not only cutting edge design, but will also showcase the monumental advances in sustainability, LED technology, new materials and advances in lighting design. Canada’s largest lighting event includes the following highlights:
- Showcasing the latest developments in interior and architectural lighting
- Focus on sustainable lighting solutions
- Special seminar stream on lighting design engineering and technology
- Candela Ottawa Light Show by emerging artists from Ottawa
- Transitions: Light On The Move - a road show of shipping containers by Philips designed by Canadian lighting designer Ross Nicholson in colloboration with Philip Gabriel
- The Lighting Keynote, The Office for Visual Interaction will present: “Iconic Lighting: Ordinary to Extraordinary”

The Architectural Stone and Ceramic Tile Expo
The Architectural Stone and Ceramic Tile Expo is expanding for 2007 thanks to the support of the Terrazzo Tile & Marble Association of Canada, ASCTEX, key members of the industry in Canada and professional associations including ARIDO, OAA and TSA. This special pavilion highlights leading manufacturers who specialize in architectural products, ceramic tile, natural stone and terrazzo.

Two new features have been added for 2007, the addition of architectural products as well as special “Learning Labs” on the show floor featuring workshops from renowned tile expert Patti Fasan, sponsored by Centura.

Green Boulevard
Green Boulevard showcases the best of sustainable design with a special emphasis on those hard to find smaller companies. Located adjacent to the eco-HOME feature exhibit, GREEN Boulevard attendees will enjoy direct access to cutting edge sustainable resources and new for 2007, IIDEX, FSC and the Canadian Wood Council have developed an innovative program of exhibits and events focused on the sustainable use of wood including the FSC business forum “Bringing Sustainability Home: Green Building, Finishing and Furnishing which will take place on Friday
September 28th.”

Energy Management - Energy in the Workplace
Energy in the Workplace is Canada’s largest exhibit of energy management products and services. Sustainable practices and effective energy management is one of the largest single issues facing specifiers in today’s marketplace. Professionals from all sectors of the built environment will find the latest products and services to conserve and manage energy wisely in this unique pavilion.
The conference program includes a keynote address by Peter love, Ontario’s Chief Energy Conservation Office plus special seminars on energy management presented by leading industry experts.

The Custom Electronic Pavilion is an innovative group exhibit for companies specializing in custom home theatre, audio, video and electronic integration systems. CEDIA, Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association will also participate as an exhibitor and produce a seminar targeted to CEDIA members and design professionals.
