- Sustainable Condo Feature Exhibit designed by Busby Perkins & Will Architects.
- Highlighting “green” accredited products and exhibitors throughout the show floor and in the show guide.
- Greening of IIDEX - IIDEX is launching a three year initiative to create Canada’s 1st GREEN trade show.
- Learning - Working with over 25 professional associations, IIDEX/NeoCon Canada will be significantly increasing our CEU accredited seminar stream to over 50 seminars
Exhibitor Orientation Tour and Sustainable Sales Seminar,
August 9; 8:30am - 10:00am
On Wednesday August 9th, 8:30am - 10:00am, IIDEX/NeoCon Canada is pleased to host our annual exhibitor orientation at the newly renamed Direct Energy Centre (formerly the National Trade Centre). The orientation will provide you with important information on the building layout, move in/move out tips as well a chance to meet key Direct Energy Centre personnel. At the same time we will be offering exhibitors a unique sales educational experience, Joe Pettipas, ARIDO of HOK Canada will be presenting a seminar, “Put Your Green Products in the Hands of the Design Community”. Learn what the Interior Designer needs to help ‘sell’ your sustainable products to the end user. Discover what makes clients choose sustainable products, how those choices improve corporate image and how to translate that into the bottom line. Joseph Pettipas, ARIDO, IDC, ASID, IIDA, ISP, LEED AP, is the vice president and practice leader for hospitality and retail at HOK Canada. With well over two decades of experience, he has a deep understanding of the challenges faced today within the corporate, hospitality, retail and marketing areas of the built environment, and was also President of ARIDO in 1993, 1994 and 2003.
