This educational session, designed especially for students, is a three-part seminar. First, students are invited to learn about the benefi ts of belonging to a professional association. Following the information session, students will hear a representative from a leading design firm discuss their career and their design projects. This year’s viewpoint speakers are Mole White & Associates Ltd. on Thursday and Douglas Design Studio on Friday. Finally, there is a special seminar entitled “How to Get the Job YOU Want” Douglas Bullock of Bullock Associates Design Consultants Inc. will focus on tips for your resume, portfolio, covering letter, job search, interview and understanding your target audience.
Career Exchange

Organized by: ARIDO
Representatives from Interior Design, Architecture and Facility Management firms will host roundtable discussions for student attendees to fi nd out about
career options. This will take place in the restaurant area on the show floor.
Exhibit Hall
Students of design are welcome to tour IDEX/NeoCon Canada during show hours on Sept. 28 and 29 free of charge. We have streamlined registration for 2006 with no online or on-site registration required. For 2006 there will be a student registration counter in the registration area with badges pre-printed and ready for pick up. Students must present a valid student card at registration.

The ABC’s of NCIDQ
Friday Afternoon. 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Join representatives from NCIDQ to learn more about the NCIDQ exam and IDEP (Interior Design Experience Program). This session is geared towards
students who are about to graduate and students who have recently graduated and are about to enter the IDEP program. Learn from NCIDQ representatives about the necessary steps you need to take on your career path to becoming a qualified, professional Interior Designer.

Through this innovative program, ARIDO Student Members are trained to provide in-booth support for IIDEX/NeoCon Canada exhibitors. Student
