SHIPMENTS FROM THE SHOW
You may ship your materials from the show via any carrier. However, Stronco Logistic Services is the preferred shipper and will be on site to assist you. Stronco Logistic Services is available for domestic and inter-city deliveries. You are required only to pack your material, and after it is packed, to file a Shipment Order Form (bill of lading) with the service desk. Advance Shipments
It is imperative that Customs Commercial invoices be mailed to the customs broker at least two weeks prior to shipping goods, since Canada Customs will not permit entry of goods to the building without the invoice. Shipments should be dispatched to arrive at least one week in advance of the show move-in to allow for customs clearance. Shipments must be warehoused at the brokers before delivery to the show building on the first move-in day.
The Official Customs Broker, Stronco Logistic Services, has bonded warehouse facilities to receive advance shipments for trade shows. Freight will be received in their warehouse up to 30 days prior to show move-in. Quotes are available, on request, covering all necessary paperwork for in and out movement and delivery to and from the show.
Overseas Shipments
It is recommended that exhibitors who will have shipments coming by sea arrange to have them made by the first vessel to allow time for customs clearance and delivery to the show building. Exhibitors shipping materials from outside of Canada must use the services of a customs broker. Carefully label your crates and material for the show, make absolutely sure that you are familiar with Customs procedure, ensure that you have the necessary forms and be familiar with Canadian Customs policy for your products.
Private Movement of Exhibit Material
Exhibitors using their own trucks or methods of transportation other than common carrier, should advise their broker well in advance of their expected arrival. Contact the Official Customs Broker, Stronco Logistic Services, regarding Air Express, Air Freight, Air Cargo, Trucks, Private Vehicles and Airline Hand Baggage.
