This year IIDEX/NeoCon Canada delivers over 10,000 sq. ft of FM exhibits, a complete FM seminar program and FM Keynote Luncheon speaker to ensure facility managers find the solutions they need to advance in today’s competitive marketplace.
The FM conference is co-sponsored by the Toronto Chapter of IFMA and by CFM&D Magazine and offers a multitude of educational sessions and panel discussions on vital workplace topics. The conference will focus on the knowledge Facility Managers need to contribute to organizations’ “triple bottom line” accountability for financial, social and environmental performance. Sessions have been organized by a team chaired by Tom Kelly, CFM&D editor.
Highlights from the Facility Management Feature area on the show floor will include: ergonomic and systems furniture, video conferencing, CAFM technology, signage, furniture installation services, environmentally responsible building maintenance services, outsourcing services, and furniture for healthcare— everything essential for the efficient and effective management of commercial, institutional and healthcare facilities.
Purchased by ARIDO earlier this year, IIDEX/NeoCon Canada and ARIDO continue to collaborate with the CFM&D Expo founder, Arvid Stonkus to develop the facility management conference, exhibitor and attendee base. This year IIDEX/NeoCon Canada delivers more architecture than ever!

Forces to be Reckoned With: Future Designs to Sustain our Urban Ecosystems - In collaboration with Canadian Architect Magazine, IIDEX/NeoCon Canada is pleased to present a panel discussion on sustainability and the future design of our cities. Ian Chodikoff, editor of Canadian Architect will moderate a provocative panel discussion comprised of young Toronto and European practitioners who are emerging as leaders in their field through the integration of innovative sustainable strategies and technologies into their practice and ideologies that address issues of new ways of understanding our evolving urban ecosystems.
With special programming, international exhibits and publications combined with an educational program specifically for architects, this year’s show is a must see for architects. GREENlife™ Products for Sustainable Environments
Green design and sustainability issues are increasing in importance as designers and architects strive to create eco-friendly environments. This year’s focal point is the worldwide launch of Cabin Culture’s pre-fab sustainable cabin. Designed in Europe by Canadian Architect, Todd Saunders, the cabin will be open for attendees to experience 1st hand the latest sustainable design technologies, building materials and finishes. In addition, IIDEX/NeoCon Canada is proud to be working with the OAA (Ontario Association of Architects), Toronto Society of Architects (TSA) Projects Green, Canadian Green Building Council (CAGBC), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Landscape Ontario’s - Interiorscape Division to round out this year’s “green” programming. Landscape Ontario’s 700 sq.ft exhibit will showcase the many innovative ways designers can incorporate interior landscaping into public areas and typical office work spaces. Visitors can also participate in over 10 sustainable seminars and panels discussions including a special panel discussion moderated by Canadian Architect Magazine to stay on top of this ever changing sector of design.

Exposure to Light
One of the most important elements in any interior, lighting is presented in an innovative way in Exposure to Light, Canada’s largest exhibit of lighting suppliers. Developed in cooperation with the Toronto chapter of IES, the Illuminating Engineering Society, the 3,000 sq ft Exposure to Light exhibit incorporates lighting design by Lightbrigade Architectural Lighting.

Export Café
Because of the influential role IIDEX/NeoCon Canada plays in the industry and the economy; it has been identified as a signature event by the federal government. For the 3rd year International Trade Canada will hold an Export Café where Canadian Trade Officers from the U.S.A. and abroad will offer export direction to help Canadian companies succeed in the world markets and gain easier access to the international business services offered by the Canadian government.
Special Programs for Specifiers
ARIDO and IDC, with support from International Trade Canada, are again hosting canada Designs, a innovative program which will host 50 senior design principals from leading U.S. and international design firms. In addition, To ease the impact on the budgets of interior designers from outside of Metropolitan Toronto, the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO), owners of IIDEX/NeoCon Canada, is pleased to announce our first annual Canadian Travel Subsidy program, Coast to Coast which is supported by IIDEX/NeoCon Canada exhibitors and show managers, Merchandise Mart Properties Canada Inc. (MMPI).
