Student Information Sessions

Thursday, September 22. 2:00 - 3:30 PM

This educational session designed especially for students is a three part seminar. First, students are invited to learn about the benefits of belonging to a professional association. Following the information session, you will hear from a leading design firm about their career and their design projects (see below for Designer’s Viewpoint speakers). Finally, there is a special seminar entitled “How to Prepare For an Interview.” Hays Recruitment Specialists will walk you through Designer’s Viewpoint Speakers

Representatives from Interior Design, Architecture and Facility Management firms will host roundtable discussions for student attendees to find out about career options. Organized by ARIDO. This will take place in the restaurant area on the show floor.

Design and Architectural Schools Exhibit

Take a stroll through the school exhibit area where Canada’s Interior Design and Architecture schools have created displays especially for IIDEX/NeoCon Canada. Check out the work of up and coming interior designers and architects and chat with students and faculty from across the country.

Student Volunteers at IIDEX/NeoCon Canada

Through this innovative program, ARIDO Student Members are trained to provide in-booth support for IIDEX/NeoCon Canada exhibitors. Student Members have an opportunity to gain valuable experience, while exhibitors have a specially trained representative to respond to student inquiries.
